Thanksgiving and family

It's that time of year again.  What do the holidays mean to you?  It's celebrating what we are thankful for, giving recognition to our loved one, feeding the homeless shelters, and coming together for those less fortunate than us. This year if I had the extra time in my busy schedule, I would aide to those in need this year. It's time to donate what you can and feeding and clothing with what we can part. Some of those lending out that helping hand, bless you on heart. One of these days at the right time and place in my life, I will lend my helping hand. At this time, both of us are barely getting by, still we pray in silence over our blessed food that somebody's helping out those in need.  Who's donating their crafts this year?  I have lots of extras yarn but not enough hands to get it done.  I'm willing to give up my extras who would love to make blankets to those who need them more. Please leave me a message on here or if you got Facebook, leave your comment there too.  Blessings to all of you this thankful time of year!  Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Crochet and Reading

Well, in today's society we are all learning new stuff including lost arts in crocheting and much more.  Everybody's in the new technology and their own interests.  Now I want to bring back those lost arts because it's useful to people who are interested in learning and/or already crocheting themselves.  Like me, I love to crochet and learn new patterns, but I like to interpret the new stitching and weaving my own work.

Some of us enjoying reading novels, Kindles, blogging, and texting so I'll lay down some of the ground rules.  It's all right to crochet anybody 's patterns but get permission first.  You wouldn't want somebody to steal your ideas from you.  Instead, corporate with them.  If they tell you can for personal use only, you should incorporate that.  Remember, you wouldn't even infringe this on your worst enemy.

So hope you enjoy our new blogger page and share that link to all your friends.  With this blog, I plan to list the stuff we like to make our own page, but as well as posting stitch patterns, the basic steps to get started, and a whole lot more.  I love so many arts and crafts.  If you're not into, maybe this will help guide and urge you to give it at least a look.  You don't want to miss out on the endless opportunities!!!
